PXN Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy. How we collect and use personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this Agreement. We process personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, NDPC regulations, anti-money laundering rules and other Applicable Law.

What we collect and why. We collect identity and contact data, verification data (including BVN, NIN and biometrics where lawful), financial and Transaction data, business data, logistics and location data, device and technical data, and usage data. We use it to provide the Services, verify identity, process payments, coordinate deliveries, prevent fraud and financial crime, comply with law, provide support, improve the Platform, and, where permitted, send marketing.

Sharing. We share data only as needed with banks, payment processors, logistics partners, Vendors and Delivery Partners (limited to what they need to fulfil an order), identity verification and fraud prevention providers, cloud and service providers, professional advisers, and regulators, courts and law enforcement where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

Location, cookies and recording. If you enable location permissions, we may use your location to enable deliveries, prevent fraud and calculate pricing. We use cookies and similar technologies for security, preferences and analytics. Calls and chats with our support channels may be recorded and monitored for quality, fraud prevention and legal compliance.

Retention and transfers. We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above and as required by law, including financial and anti-money laundering record-keeping. If we transfer data outside Nigeria, we will apply safeguards required by data protection law.

Your rights. Subject to Applicable Law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, request portability and complain to the NDPC. Electronic communications and marketing. You agree to receive communications from us electronically (in-app, email, SMS, push, WhatsApp and calls), and that such communications satisfy any legal requirement for writing. You can opt out of marketing at any time, but we will still send essential service, security and legal notices.

Electronic records. Our electronic records, logs and audit trails may be used as evidence of your use of the Platform and Transactions, to the extent permitted by law.
